Our Story
ldk is about the gift of legacy, the promise of destiny and the kiss of kismet...the imprints we leave for those who follow
Our story begins over 100 years ago with a young woman named Helen Howland Prommel, a 1912 graduate from the University of Denver, faculty member at the same institution and featured poet in major publications across the country. Her son, Harald H. Prommel, continued the story, as a CU journalism graduate, professional writer and author of the award winning book, Two Hearts Talking.
Today, we embrace a new poet, 17 year old Lizzie Bair, who recently released her first collection of poetry and prose, The Flowers of My Soul.
In honor of this legacy, ldk imprints was created to represent a new generation of writers, artists, teachers, learners and entrepreneurs who seek to touch the heart, nourish the soul and change the world.
ldk iimprints LLC is solely owned and operated by Kent and Donna Jackson, Karie Houle and Lizzie Bair.
